Last location in Portsmouth and first in Gosport is the connection as it is "shorter by the water"

The wait was approximately 15 minutes with a rate of £5.10 for adults. (Gosport Ferry, 2024)

Map of UK on a floor art piece outside Gosport Ferry Terminal

Right outside the gates on the Gosport side is a giant floor mosaic of the world map. Shown in the image to the right is cropped view of the art piece; a map of the UK with what I assume, Greenwich line parting it.

Floor pattern of the "link" in Gosport Ferry Terminal. Similar to the floor pattern found in Hortwalls and Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth.

Another interesting fact is the appearance of the floor pattern that links Hotwalls and Gunwharf Quays Naval history in Gosport City. Similar to Portsmouth, Gosport has strong naval connections and played a significant role in maritime history. It is situated on a peninsula across Portsmouth Harbour afterall.
