Hello,

My name is Wafa Yahya, and I am an aspiring architectural engineer currently based in Portsmouth, UK, pursuing my MA in Architecture Spatial Design Practices at the University of Portsmouth. I will be graduating in July 2025. After earning my degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Sharjah in 2020, I have gained three years of experience in architectural firms in Dubai and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

My expertise spans various phases of architectural design, from concept development to detailed working drawings, with a focus on user experience and sustainable, adaptable design. During my MA studies, I have deepened my knowledge of artistic design techniques and sustainable strategies as well as multiple theories from the world of urbanism, psychology, and political views on the world. I also coordinate a peer-led mentorship programme called Blueprint Studio, guiding students in software like Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.

I am actively seeking new opportunities in the architectural field, including full-time, part-time, project-based assignments, and freelance work. While based in Portsmouth, I am open to remote work and relocation. I am currently available for internships or work experience starting June 2025, and open to part-time or freelance opportunities throughout the year.

Notable achievements include the redesign of a triplex facade and the production of layout plans for a linear villa. I also delivered a 250 sqm architectural project in just 36 hours, showcasing my dedication and ability to meet tight deadlines. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite, I am well-equipped to contribute effectively to a wide range of architectural projects.
